MAY 2010 Vol 6, Mth 07: No plans yet, for this summer? Not a lot going on? Need to make some extra money during the summer vacation? Well things are starting to pick up and we need workers! If you or any of your family and friends is looking for work this summer, drop in to one of our locations and fill out an application. This year marks Canada’s 142nd Birthday! Back on July 1, 1867, Canada became a self-governing dominion of Great Britain and a federation of four provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario and Quebec. The anniversary of this date was called Dominion Day until 1982. Since 1983, July 1 has been officially known as Canada Day.
